What do volunteers do?
Volunteers are the heart and sole of La Gente and the driving force in all the La Gente Sports Programs and Special Events: Volunteers help to coach our sports programs and produce our special events: Fun Day in the Park, Annual Fishing Derby, Juan Madrid Softball Tournament and many of our sports leagues and tournaments.

Do I need experience to volunteer?
No experience is necessary, only a willingness to help.

Will I receive training?
Yes. Volunteers receive on the job training and are encouraged to attend various meeting and events.
