Basketball: Ages PreK-6th Grade

LGYS Basketball offers a basketball league designed for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 12. Teams meet and practice before their scheduled game times. Your coach will inform you of the location, time, and date of your first practice. A practice may last up to two hours and is organized by the coach. The typical team size is 8 to 10 players. The cost to participate is $35. Each player receives a team jersey.

Cheerleading: Ages 7-12

LGYS Youth Cheer is a quality youth program for students ages 7-12. We Support and Cheer for the LGYS Youth Tackle Football League. We offer sideline cheerleading that is affordable for everyone! LGYS Cheer promotes Integrety, Dedication, Team Work and Leadership for the youth in our community. We believe in the Traditional Values of Cheerleading and hope to build life-skills and confidence in each of our members. This will be another amazing season and we hope you will join us!
Tackle Football: Ages 8-12

LGYS Tackle Football offers a tackle football league designed for boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 12. Teams meet and practice before their scheduled game times. Your coach will inform you of the location, time, and date of your first practice. A practice may last up to two hours and is organized by the coach. The typical team size is 20-22 players.

· Cost: $65 per player and includes helmet, shoulderpads, pants/pads and a coupon for a custom mouthguard
· Game Location: East High School Lower football Field
· Game Days: Sundays (Schedule TBA)

Flag Football: Ages 3-10

LGYS Flag Football offers a non-contact flag football league designed for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 10. Teams meet and practice before their scheduled game times. Your coach will inform you of the location, time, and date of your first practice. A practice may last up to two hours and is organized by the coach. The typical team size is 8 to 10 players. The cost to participate is $35. Each player receives a team jersey and a coupon for a free custom mouthguard.

We allow children to "play up" in older age groups if they so desire. Children are not allowed to play down in younger divisions.

Playing With Friends or Siblings
When you register, you will have the option to list a friend, sibling, or coach that you would like to have placed together with your child, list this information in the COMMENTS area of the registration process. The vast majority of the time, we are able to accommodate friend requests. The earlier you register, the easier it is for us to fulfill your request. These requests are not guaranteed, however, as on rare occasions, we are not able to accommodate them.
Forming Your Own Team
We DO currently accept team registrations. The most effective way to register a complete team is to have the coach register first, and then have the interested players request the coach under the Coach Request section of registration.
Signing Up to Coach
Coaching our youth league programs can be a fun and rewarding experience. The commitment is limited to a few hours. All coaches for the fall will be required to register and complete our background check form.
